Hi all,
2 weeks ago, my mom broke her foot. she broke a bone in her foot, and also her ankle. Lately, she has been feeling a burning in the foot. it feels to her as if it were on fire. it's in a cast. Has anyone ever broken a leg or foot, and had thhhat burning feeling? and if so, what did the doctor say it was? When my mom called the clinic where she had her foot treated, a doctor said it probably felt that way because it was swoolen. They told her to put ice on it. Has anyone ever had this before? thanks,

I've had a broken rist, and yes I think the docture
was right. When the rist or what ever gets swolin, it makes it harder for the
blud to flow maybe cousing the berning.
Or maybe the cast is to tight.

Thanks Lupins girl. My mom is quite worried about it, but I think it calms down a bit after she's had ice on it for a while.

Did the pain ever resolve with this? If not, let me know. I may have some possible suggestions/resources.
